Terms of service

Version 2026-10-13

Draft — drafted by the platform’s AI Legal Department from official sources, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

The service

BigFour runs AI agents on the work your organization gives them: discussions, planned tasks, code, images, reviews, sites and their publishing, and the running of a business. It is provided by the operator of this installation.

Accounts and organizations

The person who signs up is the organization’s first Admin and is responsible for whom they invite and with which role. You sign up with an email address and a password, or with Continue with Google. An address must be confirmed before the account can be used; unconfirmed sign-ups are removed after 7 days.

Signing up needs your acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy. The platform records when you accepted and which version.

What is free and what is paid

Using the platform is free when your organization brings its own: its own AI subscription (signed in through the provider’s own sign-in), its own API keys (the provider bills you directly), and its own servers connected over SSH.

You pay when you use ours: agents on models the platform buys, servers the platform makes for you, and storage and compute. Each is charged from your organization’s prepaid balance at the platform’s cost plus the platform’s markup. Plans (Free and Pro) are described on Settings → Billing; Pro can be cancelled at any time and stays until the paid period ends.

The balance and top-ups

An Admin tops the balance up by card through Stripe, from $10 to $1000 at a time; Stripe processes the payment and holds the card, and its number never reaches us. A verified organization may also top up in stablecoins (USDT or USDC on the networks the page lists), sent straight to the operator’s wallet; a transfer on a public blockchain cannot be reversed by us.

When the balance is empty, new work on the platform’s paid agents waits until it is topped up; nothing on your own subscriptions or keys is affected. A server the platform made for you is switched off a few days after the balance runs out, and deleted with its data some days after that unless the balance is topped up.

Verification (KYC and KYB)

Customer organizations are verified before they may top up in stablecoins. A person (KYC) gives their full name, country, a passport or identity card and a proof of address. A company or sole trader (KYB) gives its registration document, an identity document of its head, and one of each owner who holds 25 % or more (or the share the operator sets). The operator reviews the documents by hand and approves, or rejects with a reason.

Your own subscriptions, keys and servers

What you run on your own subscription, key or server is between you and that provider, under their terms and their prices; the platform does not charge for those tokens.

A ChatGPT plan is used here only through OpenAI’s own “Sign in with ChatGPT”, which OpenAI offers to selected partners. It is not yet open on this platform. The platform never asks for or keeps your Codex login, tokens or password.

Claude Code on your own Claude subscription

Where the platform offers it, your agents can run Claude Code, made by Anthropic. When you sign in to Claude you use your own Claude subscription or API key under your own agreement with Anthropic, Anthropic’s Usage Policy and its Supported Regions Policy. The platform does not pay for, resell or intermediate that usage, and it is never part of our charges.

Sign-in completes only in Anthropic’s own flow inside the unmodified Claude Code. The platform never collects, stores or passes on your Claude credentials or session tokens.

AI outputs may be false, incomplete, misleading or out of date. Check them before you rely on them; they may not reflect Anthropic’s views, and you decide where human review is needed. This platform is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic.

Third-party infrastructure

The paid servers, the storage and some of the models behind the platform’s paid agents are provided through DigitalOcean, LLC. Using them means accepting DigitalOcean’s End Customer Terms — its Terms of Service Agreement, including all terms referenced or incorporated in it, such as the Acceptable Use Policy and the Data Processing Agreement — in their current version on digitalocean.com. They are linked here, not copied, and we may not add to or vary them except in price and payment.

Making a server needs a separate tick “I accept the Terms of Service for servers”, and first turning on the paid agents a tick “I accept the Terms of Service”. Either tick accepts these Terms together with DigitalOcean’s End Customer Terms (their version of 2026-08-22 when this edition was written): a server is made on DigitalOcean’s account under them. The platform records who accepted, when, and which edition of these Terms. Until it is ticked those services are not provided. You must keep to those terms. We must tell DigitalOcean of a breach of them or an unauthorized use we know of or suspect, and may suspend the service concerned. If our arrangement with DigitalOcean ends, carrying on with those services means buying them directly from DigitalOcean or from another of its authorized partners.

Outputs of AI models are probabilistic and may be inaccurate: evaluate them before relying on them. They may not be used where a failure could lead to death, personal injury or severe physical, property or environmental damage, nor for hazardous or critical systems, or automated or clinical decision-making. Third-party models are also subject to their own providers’ terms.

AI results

Work is done by AI models. Results can be wrong, incomplete or out of date; check them before relying on them, and decide where a person must review them. Nothing is published to a public address without a person’s action on the platform.

Acceptable use

No use to attack systems you are not authorized to test, to send unsolicited mail, to break the law or anyone’s rights, or to get around the platform’s limits. Requests and task creation are rate-limited, throwaway mailboxes cannot sign up, and an organization that abuses the service can be suspended by the operator.

Your data and leaving

Your organization’s projects, files and results are yours. The Privacy Policy says what is kept, where, who else processes it, and how an account or an organization and its data are deleted.

Changes

The platform may change these Terms at any time without prior notice. The date of the edition in force is at the top of this page. Using the platform after a change means you accept the new edition.
